ADVANCED RESPONSIBLE CONDUCT OF GAMING COURSE
From 1 July 2024 licensed premises with more than 20 electronic gaming machines will be required to have a Responsible Gambling Officer (RGO) rostered when gaming machines are operating. RGOs must have undertaken the Advanced Responsible Conduct of Gaming (ARCG) Course.
Licensed premises with more than 20 electronic gaming machines are strongly encouraged to make arrangements to have necessary staff undertake the training as soon as possible to prevent last-minute efforts to meet the 1 July deadline.
AHA currently has a number of training providers authorised to provide ARCG courses who are offering competitive pricing, and members should support these businesses in the first instance.
